The Zubos Framework Is Not a Book on the Digital Economy
The book is not a book on the broader digital economy. It's a book about advertising platforms and those that are able to generate targeted advertising mining our data and our behavior. So yeah, it would cripple Google and Facebook temporarily, but it wouldn't stop them from showing advertising. The European Greens are actually one group that have really tried to fund some of the information look into the possibility of switching from a targeted advertising model to a slightly different model.
