The Myth of Behaviorism

I think there's some sort of mythology around that and it might relate back to hundreds of years ago when they're the saying was children should be seen and not heard. Our education system is very heavily anchored in behaviorism right so that is taught to most teachers. If we try to always go after behaviors and making sure children are behaving well or in air quotes or if they are compliant we may be missing the bigger picture, which is an internal body-based sense of not feeling good but being activated in their nervous system.
