CNN's Fareed Zakaria asks if the founders had in mind that we were a country based on commerce, why was that not written into the Bill of Rights? If there were an amendment said that Congress shall make no law impeding free commerce, wouldn't that be astounding? Of course, the interstate commerce clause is already in the Constitution, which is designed to do the exact opposite thing. We've been there before. It's time for the foolishness of the week.
