The healthiest thing for Rob and Patrick—psychologically, spiritually—probably would have been for the Bears to narrowly miss the playoffs. Enter 2026 with a clean slate. Instead, it’s once again Groundhog Day, because the Bears will once again face their rival, the Packers, in another high-stakes matchup.
