This isn't as as thorny as of pros as say our Henry James short stories with all those circumlocutians, circumlocutory pros I was going to say if that's word roundabout throat clearing pros at Jamesian style this isn't that but it's still a bit old fashioned and I'm not always sure how easy it is for you to follow by ear. So here are my thoughts the blue veins immediately we know we're in a Charles just not story because race is one of his primary concerns. Look at where we are with race this isn't a white savior preaching to the choir. This is someone who's looking at a social phenomenon accepting it for what it is describing
