It's not that you need to believe in religion or some sort of supernatural entity to be moral, but it's that it religion provides this kind of community. Atheists don't have a weekly meeting. You write academics, they're all atheists. It is kind of weird when you hear that- I think that a lot of them aren't atheists, actually,. But it's just sort of like being Republican.
