The Precautionary Principle in Law: AI Labs Pause Development

More than a thousand technology leaders argued that artificial intelligence labs should pause development of the most advanced systems. They wrote this in an open letter that AI tools present quote, profound risks to society and humanity. The precautionary principle basically says that when there's uncertainty about the future, which is always every new technology, then we shouldn't develop it.
