The Six Criteria for Best Practice Statements
Rahul Gandhi: A best practice statement is an ungraded, strong recommendation which are developed in very strict adherence to some guidelines. He says there are six criteria for best practice statements; one of them is can the statement be actionable? And where a grade cannot be formally applied and the evidence is really difficult to sort of collect, he says, "there is a question that really needs a statement which is actionable" The panel thought that this was such a common problem,. you know, there, and there needed to be some guidance of what to do.
