Having an Editor as a Hobby Project?
You have definitely too much coupling between model and view will hurt when building something new innovative. So yet, the separation o a model in view is quite important. I think i really enjoyd and learn a lot. And most of my projects are for learning. Sometimes you might work on something and you might not always have the goal of shipping this as fast as possible. But i can just be for improving yourself as a developer.
