The Landscape of God
When I first came into the institution, I clearly had a concept of a conditionally loving God who got angry if you stepped outside the lines as Pete was talking about the guardrails. So obviously assimilated that from the teaching that I was getting but I still now if I now right now if I think of it, I would probably have a picture of a beautiful Scottish landscape or you know,Probably drawn more to images of non violence or scenes of all and wonder people doing beautiful things for other humans or humanity or the earth. Perhaps my understanding of God is more rooted in landscape these days - which is why I think Jim and I drawn towards the Iona community and the Celtic way.
