The Importance of Long Term Production Structures
The pyramid in Egypt, required the labor of a hundred thousand men through 20 years. And so if you penciled that out at 5,000 labor hours per slave for a year, it's like 10 billion hours of human time. But when people are free and consensually contracting with one another, such as private property, that makes those long term production structures robust or maybe even anti-fragile.
