Is There Creativity in the Old Testament?

Some scholars say that paul is re inventing the will when he's writing about certain things, and that he is doing something extremely detached from the old testament background. And i don't agree with that. At the same time, there is some creativity going on, for sure, in some of paul's writings,. But, but even so, what i like to show is that that creativity is still within the bounds of a, you know, established practices back in thosea in second temple judaism.
