The Government's Compensation Scheme for Infected Carers
Serineval, Sir Brian Langstaff, published an interim report into the scandal last month. He made it clear that ministers should set up a compensation scheme immediately. Is that going to be straightforward? It's not, because one of the things that still has to be decided is how the payments are going to be weighted. And I think siblings of children who are infected carers, I mean, are quite a big group of affected people.
