Baseball Is a Game About Failure

There's this famous saying that goes something like in baseball, you can fail 70% of the time in your a Hall of Famer. The phrase obviously only takes batting average into account. To be more accurate, you kind of need to fail only 60 or 65%. That is often something that people will trot out as an exceptionalism example. Like baseball is unique because it's a game of failure.
