I had been exploring the software engineering path for a while. I felt like it was more like a fork from electrical engineering, if that makes sense. So to me, like being a freelance web developer, while it's definitely different, it's still kind of like, okay, my technical skills have helped me at least in my way of thinking and have some sort of foundation in web development.
