The Day of Judgment

The psalmist in the Old Testament, when he's writing his poetry, longs for that day. For those who receive Christ as King, it is a day of righteousness to long for. If you do not respond to the light, you choose darkness. And so judgment for those is eternal and sobering. Again like Jesus has done and all of His parables related to final judgment,. He uses striking metaphors to drive home the weight of judgment. For He calls it eternal fire.
