Reddit is a very specific case where if you're not using old dot Reddit, like I find the new site, well, technically impressive in a lot of ways is quite slow. So out of a selfish reason, almost I've long went it away just to say get me the JSON and represent that in a way as fast as possible so I can quickly browse Reddit. And even just based on building an app based off of that foundation alone, I think would appeal to a lot of people.
