The Importance of Hard Work
In America, we kind of lose focus on what hard work really is. In the early 1900s and even after that, most people were working 60, 70, 80 hours a week to be broke. Howard likes to say his employees are family. He pays them a dollar above the current state minimum wage of 14, 20 an hour. But when the state raised the minimum wage, he spoke up against it.
