Donna Hill has this particular niche of African American romances, which I imagine is largely consumed by an African American readership. It's a massive segment of the marketplace that both needs to be tended to and is also probably bringing in a lot of dollars. And it made me think about the lesbian pulp fiction market actually of the 50s and 60s by comparison just by way of a specific other niche market.
