Emma Thompson was born in Paddington and educated at Camden School for Girls. Her father was involved in theatre and her godfather was director Ronald Aire. The family lived in West Hampstead, which is quite a posh area of London. She's probably like me - maybe a bit posher than me but not super posh. Let's see if we can find someone else now...
