Young people who come to understand this phenomena in high school, and there are some, have an advantage. They could right now be beginning to seek out alternatives to university. For example, learn the physics that everyone else will learn at university for four years? From 18 throug to 21 years of age. Those three or four years could be spent learning something truly new,. Getting a head start on the competition by doing what most phd. Students barely begin to do even in their thesis work.
