Amsterdam house prices are at record highs right now. Prices dropped about 20% in 2007, but since then they've regained about 50%. Amsterdam is more expensive currently than it has ever been. So a general lesson we can take from the index is that prices overshoot and undershoot over time,. But ultimately they remain somewhat flat.
