Is Malab the Best Programming Language for Aerospace?

In the aero space industry, for making airplanes and flight control systems, i used matlab a lot. I just cond of did everything in that lab. And so i kind of started hacking out mat lad and making like bunch of programmes,. Not really going into other pro programming languages, which were probably better suited for the job. Then eventually ended up at a job where i got to start going ot the piton nice. What kind of air airplanes were you working on? First job was on the space shuttle, which was, which has been retired.
