Avicenna's Necessary Existence Isn't the God of Worshipped in Islam

Avicenna argued that the universe has no external cause, but simply must exist. His ingenious proof did not get him as far as he might have hoped. Avicenna may as well go around wearing something that says "I proved there is a necessary existent and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"
