Is Pea Hacking a Good Thing?

CNN's John Sutter looks at a blog post about an unpaid Turkish researcher who refused to do research in his lab. He says the person was also resentful of the turkish woman, and that it feels extremely wild to watch some one commit career suicide without knowing what they're doing. The author explains how pea hacking occurs when researchers try to find interesting results from their data by systematically going through them.
