Is It Backwards Compatible?

i wonder if anyone at this table disagrees with the concept that, like, bitcoin users in ten years won't really know if they're using lightning or on chain. The whole point is as backwardas compatible. I feel like when we think about a lot of these things, it either cannot rely on getting these wallets to start supporting it.
