In 1990, Rob Reiner adapted one of Stephen King's most terrifying novels. Kathy Bates channeled Betty Davis for her performance as Annie Wilkes in Misery. Both these films were more commonly labelled thrillers rather than horrors. But both feature some of the most frightening moments in modern cinema. They also gave us two of the most iconic female horror villains of all time. And we discuss Adrian Line's fatal attraction and Rob Reiner's misery.
