If you want to become an iconographer, first of all I would say again don't, because there are too many iconographers. If you can't find a teacher, luckily online now we have people who will critique your work and help you along. The problem with the new gender theory, it does indeed have to do with iconoclasm controversy. It's the idea that all forms are equal. And so any form will make a painting of the most insane thing ever done by Jesus Christ. There is no relationship in form between ideas and their manifestation.
