In the book, you trace changes in our approach to ethics. Would you mind talking a little bit more about the ethical side of things? S yes so am. Er, and it goes back, in a way, to what is to human nature - we're extremely pro social. And i's a very evolutionary reason for that. The process of human evolution made us a very unusual mammal. Because coming down from the trees, we had to work in big groups. So we had to learn how to co operate and trust other people in big group. If i could get my teenages to think ahead as well as a squirrel, i'd really be pleased.
