The Dark Patterns Guy

I was thinking when I came up with the idea of dark patterns, I was thinking specifically about little bits of user interface design like micro interactions. And now when other people talk about it in a sort of like in that article from like a really political kind of focus, it kind of doesn't feel like exactly what I intended it to be. Being the dark patterns guy isn't hugely useful for my actual professional work because no one wants to hire someone to either make them feel bad about dark patterns or to design them. It's been great just at meeting people in the industry and going to conferences and stuff like that. Having something slightly unique with a different angle has been it's been really nice
