The Importance of Energy in Transitions

If you've been working on phase all day to work on phase for five days, most people would discover their battery getting depleted. I think we schedule things for length of time and we are very good at filling that length of time or consuming more. We're going to waste that amount of time whether it takes that long or not. And so if there's something scheduled for tomorrow and I get done with this today and I don't have another thing to do, I will reach forward and pull that to today because I don't know what tomorrow holds. So I'm energized by that, for sure. It definitely uses a different kind of part of my brain.
