The fractional qanta pall effect is the most sophisticated a problem in connensed metaphysics of which we can claim at least to have some kind of reasonable, quantitative understanding. Whether we have a complete understanding or not is still not entirely clear, but at least we can setementof it, and we can make certain theoretical predictions that experiment does seem to bearand so forth. But there are many aspects of this which are quite a bit deeper, and you go into some of them in in yo book.
