Reagan could have reorganized the country, but he didn't do anything except for with the Chamber of Commerce. He wasn't just a guy who got a ton of votes; he did almost leftist level, all this organizing. Reagan's entire political career was essentially pointing at the hippies and saying, if you put me in charge, I'll stop this right now.
