The Evolution of Hybrid Algorithms
Quantum does not solve the problem of factorization. It will have a significant impact on what I already kind of dare to call hybrid algorithms. Right now it's sort of stove pipes. You have D-Wave with their Oceans API and IBM with Quizkit, focused on quantum computing implementations. And then you're going to end up with another layer of obfuscation where you have this quantum computer coupled with other systems that you have an API that traverses both.
