Lebanon has the cheapest electricity in the world because it's subsidized on the rate of $1,500. You basically just pay like $2 for electricity the entire month. The government takes all the money in the economy and uses it to nationalize water service or increase government employees. So this is what's going on and it's an absolute mess.
