The Role of Peep in Neuromuscular Disease

The high peep is a physiologic trick to oxygenate someone. In patients with neuromuscular disease, hopefully it's not too much of primary lung pathology. A person with ARDS, true ARDS, I think I could count the number of people I was able to get by on BIPAP on one hand; they crump so fast. So that kind of ambiguity, it makes our job as intense, it's very valuable,. It makes your role very valuable, it makes you indispensable.
