Walter Farquhar published a memoir that included his experience at the Barry Pomeroy Castle. He was asked to visit because the caretaker on the grounds, his wife was really sick. While he was waiting to see the wife, he saw the white lady in the room with him. She walked up the steps and looked at him and then vanished.
