CNN's John Sutter is in San Francisco as part of a CNN iReport series. He stopped by Bar Creen to talk about the new USDA regulations on plant-based meat. The agency says it could be years before consumers see these products at restaurants and seven to 10 years before they hit the wider market. They're targeting eventually a price that would mirror high-end organic chicken, which sells for up to $20 per pound.
