The Politics of Cost in the Urban
I think this is joining a new way of of sorry literature coming out of India as well as elsewhere on kind of the manifestations of cost. also double up as often cost lords and landlords that that are quite exploitative of lower cost groups in terms of urban service provision like street sweeping sapphire commentary work. I'm also thinking about tracing a longer history of environmental casteism so that's a theoretical book that I'm currently thinking through with an Indian Ocean world view. These are two projects one on Bangalore and one more theoretical and regional that I'm hoping to work on in the next few years but I will you will have to take a range check on learning more about them.
