The Animal Kingdom Is Freedom

The government was created simply as a means of defence gainst enslavement. That's how freedom works, it's gang warfare. The most powerful ends up conquering everybody else. So what we looked for is to create systems that were less brutal. We could tolerate cruelty towards our own citizens if it protected us against the greater cruelty of other tribes and foreigners.
