The Triple Contract

The Monce Pietatis was effectively a church-sponsored institution in late medieval Italy that would make loans to people who needed money at a very low fee. The practice of doing this was approved at the Fifth Letter in Council in 1516. An additional thing that developed in the 16th century that we should consider is called the Triple Contract. There was a combination of three contracts into one. It's based on Asociatas and two insurance policies.
