LZ Granderson: This is a very special live-taping of making gay history upstairs at the Stonewall Inn. LZ: The publisher was nervous about using the word gay in the title of the book, so we used lesbian and gay in the subtitle. Ten years later, the second edition was published, and by then nobody cared, so we called it Making Gay History. "It's like I'm four activists on a panel with you," he says.
