The Difference Between Chief Justice Roberts' and Justice Thomas' Opinions

Chief Justice Roberts never actually said that higher ed colleges can never take race into account any longer. So there's a lot of wiggle room there and there's been a lot of debates in the media about just how far Chief Justice Roberts' opinion goes. He doesn't necessarily want to go all the way and overturn precedent and say that race can never be used because he is a coalition builder, Andrew says.
