In the long term we're trying to create something that has the potential to rival you know our playoffs and and finals in terms of team and player perceived value. The minute you tie into our other season in some way you essentially cap that ceiling so for example if you give a playoff spot to the winner of this tournament you have created another play in tournament it just takes place in december instead of april. It also creates standings chaos sure right there's a bunch of other weird things but at the end of the day you've created another stepping stone.
