The EEG Is a Useful Diagnostic Test for Encephalitis
The EEG itself is a really limited utility at making the diagnosis of encephalitis or of the underlying cause. The IDSA recommends at least empiric acyclogur therapy in all patients with suspected encephalitis. That's an A-level recommendation from them at least. Many signs concerning for the command and jesmus generally upfront will be treated.
