If you come to believe that determinism should mitigate your reactive attitudes, then why not? Why can't that serve as input in the same way that insanity serves as input? But then again, so tou then you're inverting his project, right? You can't. According to his project, you would be doing what he called over intellectualizing the facts. That's getting things backwards.
