What's the Origin of the iPod?
The iPod and iTunes combination became an early $10 billion product, accounting for almost 50% of Apple's revenues back then. A company called Diamond Multimedia introduced the Rio in 1998 and another firm, Best Data, introduced the Cabo 64 in 2000. Both products worked well and worked portable and stylish. So why did the iPod succeed rather than the Rio or the Cabo? Over to Mark.
