Red Menace

CHAPTER

The French Revolutionary Strike

Cropotkin argues for the central importance of food security in a socialist revolution. He shows how in the French Revolution, this was not prioritized and chaos and ultimately defeat followed. Cropotkin also concedes that socialist revolutions in Europe, when they inevitably happen, will take different forms.
