i was at tasahara for the winter practice period in 20 19. The greatest physical challenge, much harder for me than the cold, was the lack of sleep. My constant torpor was a kind of hell. I saw that it behooves an old woman to learn to roll with the punches. So every morning, when the wake up bell rang, i rolled slipping ahead.
