In the Abyss, Inkidu's Death
Gilgamesh and Inkidu were created by the gods to rival each other. As their fame grew, the gods decided that one of them needed to die. In his final moments, with Gilgamesh at his bedside, Inkidu had a few last remarks. He lamented that he would never again see his brother Gilgamesh.
